Hee hee! When I posted the pic, I was too lazy to get out the dictionary, so there's some truth to that. It was only after that I checked the spelling. I may be an English professor but spelling has never been a strength of mine. (lol)
Well, let's just hope you haven't any student watching you here on DA then 'cause the cat's out of the bag now! but at least you know when to go reaching for the dictionary. If I could just get most people here to say "fine" when asked how they are instead of "good" I'd be a really happy camper. that one really bugs me. Grrrrr! Even teachers I know make that mistake, no wonder the students do it too. Then add in the "franglais" and "spanglish" and every other conceivable combination and, well, it's just impossible to keep up any sort of standards. sigh.
